Step-by-Step: How to Use an Electric Makeup Brush Cleaner

1. Prepare the Cleaner
      •     Place the cleaner on a flat, stable surface.
      •     Make sure it’s charged or plugged in (depending on the model).

2. Add Water
      •     Open the top or remove the lid.
      •     Pour clean, lukewarm water into the container.
      •     Fill only up to the MAX line (do not overfill).

3. Add Cleanser
      •     Add 1–2 drops of:
      •     Mild liquid soap, or
      •     Baby shampoo, or
      •     Makeup brush cleanser
      •     Avoid harsh detergents—they can damage brush bristles.

4. Insert the Brushes
      •     Place brushes bristle-side down into the holder slots.
      •     Make sure:
      •     Bristles are submerged in water
      •     Handles stay above the water (very important to prevent damage)

5. Turn On the Cleaner
      •     Press the power button.
      •     Let the cleaner run for 10–30 seconds.
      •     You’ll see makeup residue coming off into the water.

6. Check and Repeat (If Needed)
      •     Turn off the machine.
      •     If brushes are still dirty:
      •     Replace dirty water with clean water
      •     Add fresh cleanser
      •     Run the cleaner again

7. Rinse the Brushes
      •     Remove brushes from the cleaner.
      •     Rinse bristles under gentle running water.
      •     Always keep brush handles pointing upward.

8. Remove Excess Water
      •     Gently squeeze bristles with a clean towel.
      •     Do not twist or pull the bristles.

9. Dry the Brushes
      •     Lay brushes flat on a towel, or
      •     Place them bristles-down in a drying stand
      •     Let them air-dry completely (usually 6–12 hours)

10. Clean the Device
      •     Empty the dirty water from the cleaner.
      •     Rinse the container and let it air-dry.
Extra Tips
      •     Clean brushes once a week for daily use.
      •     Clean foundation & concealer brushes more often (they hold more bacteria).
      •     Never soak the entire brush handle in water.
